I’m Teemu Kurppa, a co-founder, CEO and a mobile developer of Huikea Experience – a social mobile gaming startup.
This is my personal blog – DIRTyAURA. The name is a riddle, can you solve it? You need to know some Finnish to figure it out, though.
Here I write mostly about topics close to my professional life – design, development and business of mobile applications and social internet services – but there can be also an occasional reflection about world or my personal life.
I’m based in lively Northern European city of Helsinki, Finland, but I have lived in San Francisco and London (Some great London tips in Finnish.) for a while.
I was a member of the founding team of Jaiku, a microblogging service that was acquired by Google in 2007. After leaving Google last fall I founded Huikea Experience with Pekka Uronen, an awesome programmer and an old friend of mine.
I’m an experienced mobile developer having over 7 years experience of developing end-user mobile applications in Nokia, Jaiku and Google.
I also give talks about mobile business and startup life at various events. They’ve been pretty well received, if you like to have me give a talk in your event, please contact me via email: teemu@huikea.com.
In addition to DIRTyAURA, you can follow me on Twitter here.
